Welcome to Star Struck! To ensure the best experience for you, your pet, and our team, we kindly ask that all clients review and agree to the following policies:

Appointment & Cancellation Policy

To protect our schedule and minimize disruptions:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Same-day cancellations will incur a 50% fee of the scheduled service.

  • No-shows may be required to prepay for future appointments.

  • Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled by phone, text, or through our online booking system.

    • Appointment Commitment Reminder: When you book an appointment with us, it’s often scheduled several weeks in advance. We understand that things can come up—but it’s important to let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.  Each appointment time is reserved exclusively for your pet(s). If you arrive late or don’t show up, that time goes unused and can’t be filled on short notice. A quick phone call or message—at least 24 hours in advance—gives us the opportunity to rebook that slot and make the most of our groomers' time.

No-Show Policy

Missed appointments result in lost time and income for our team.

  • A no-show is defined as failing to show up or contact us by the scheduled time.

  • After the first No-show, a credit card will be required to be on file and there will be a charge of up to 100% of the service cost.

  • After two no-shows, we may decline future bookings or require full prepayment.

Late Pickup Policy

We love your pets—but we also need to close on time.

  • Please pick up your pet within 60 minutes of being notified.

  • A $15 per 30-minute holding fee will apply after that grace period.

  • We close promptly at 3PM on all days except Thursday, in which we close at 6PM. Pets left past closing may incur boarding fees.

Deposit & Payment Policy

To secure your spot and avoid no-shows:

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required for new clients, large breed dogs, or during peak holidays.

  • Payment is due in full at pickup.

  • We accept credit/debit cards, and contactless payments.  As of Aug 1st 2025, we no longer accept cash for safety and bookkeeping reasons. Cash tips are always accepted.

Health & Behavior Policy

We prioritize safety for all pets and staff.

  • All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies and bordetella.

  • Please disclose any health conditions, recent surgeries, or behavioral concerns when booking.

  • Depending on breed and age, we may require a vet clearance to make sure your pet will be able to have a successful and comfortable grooming experience.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet appears ill, aggressive, or poses a safety risk to either itself or to our staff.

Grooming Disclaimer: Matting, Skin Conditions & Safety

Your pet's comfort comes first.

  • Severely matted pets may require a shave-down to avoid pain or injury.

  • Removing mats can reveal underlying skin conditions such as rashes, wounds, or infections.

  • These conditions are not caused by grooming, and we are not liable for any pre-existing issues discovered during or after grooming.

  • Pets may experience temporary sensitivity or irritation after grooming—please monitor them closely and contact your vet if needed.

  • Be advised that accidental nicks can occur if your pet makes sudden movements or lunges during grooming.  You will be notified immediately if this occurs.

Photo/Video Release

We love showing off our furry clients!

By booking with us, you agree that photos or videos of your pet may be used for our website, social media, or marketing materials. If you prefer not to have your pet featured, just let us know!

Emergency Policy

In rare cases where urgent care is needed:

  • We will always attempt to contact you immediately.

  • If we cannot reach you, we may seek veterinary attention at your expense to ensure your pet’s wellbeing.

  • Your pet’s health and safety are our top priority.
